Night Walker II Jazz Cover - Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes]

Decided to start off my favorite wave of UNI covers by running back one of my OG covers that helped the channel take off. Took everything I've learned over the past year and in my opinion made this my definitive cover of Night Walker. And if you'd like to join the community discord server to talk and chill with fellow jazz enjoyers, you can tap in here:   / discord   The biggest thing I wanted to emphasize in this cover was the changes between the original and the UNI2 mix. I rerecorded about 99% of this cover and ended up changing some things for every part, some are prety obvious like the new bassline and some are more subtle like comping of the chords at the end of the song compared to the beginning. I also added a few completely new sections, like the break between the verse and chorus (shoutout to Chick Corea lol) and the solo section after the chorus. A lot of these ideas I had in my end but didn't feel like I was capable of doing when I first covered Night Walker, but I'm at a point now where I'm not scared of attempting things, I wanna see what's on the other side of these ideas instead of just keeping them in my head all the time. As a result of trying so much stuff this is definitely my longest cover so far but I'd also proudly call this my personal favorite work. Persona 3 Reload drops in less than a week so the next upload will most definitely be from that game. I'm like 90% sure it'll be Full Moon Full Life but you guys know how I can be so I can't promise anything. Can't thank you all enough though for the constant support, I was surprised by how much love the last cover got. Def got a couple Xenoblade 2 songs in the backlog so it's nice to know you guys enjoy music from that trilogy.
