Pocantico Hills Fire Department Engine 189 responding to a 68-year-old female having an allergic reaction to a bee sting at Rockwood Hall Park on Rockwood Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant, New York. Car 2382 and Car 2383 from the Pocantico Hills Fire Department, along with Car 2631 from the Archville Fire Department, Ambulance 53B2 from the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department, 37-Medic-2 from the Mount Pleasant Paramedics, and 36-Medic-1 from the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Originally, Archville FD and Pocantico Hills FD, along with Briarcliff Manor FD EMS, and the Mount Pleasant Paramedics were dispatched. 36-Medic-1 was clearing from Phelps Hospital, which is directly adjacent to Rockwood Hall Park, after transporting a patient from an unrelated call. He responded to assist and was first to arrive. He located the patient approximately one quarter mile in on a trail and reported they were conscious and alert. The patient was ultimately transported ALS to Phelps Hospital by Ambulance 53B2 with 37-Medic-2 on board. All Archville and Pocantico Hills Fire units, along with 36-Medic-1 went back into service. Engine 189 is a 1994 Pierce Dash (1250GPM/1000GWT). This video was taken on August 29th, 2024.
