This is true when you are applying through a recruitment agency in the Philippines. Some of these documents are to be used in application for work permit and the recruitment agencies would determine right away if an applicant is qualified and the whole application process will be successful. I believe that an applicant should secure first these documents required in applying for Canada jobs even before the start of job hunting. Based on my own research and by looking at the job postings of various recruitment agencies in the Philippines for Canada jobs, these are the documents you need to collect: I. PERSONAL DOCUMENTS 1. Birth certificate 2. Marriage certificate or CENOMAR 3. Passport 4.SSS record 5. Police clearance/NBI clearance 6. Proof of physical fitness II. EDUCATION & TRAININGS 1. High School records (Form 137/138) or 2 College Diploma and Transcript of Records and/or Master's Degree Diploma and Transcript of records 3. Copies of all trainings related to the job III . Record of Employment (Previous & Present) 1. Certificate of Employment showing years of experience in the last 10 years. 2. Pay slips and company ID 3. OFW information sheet from POEA 4. Police clearance from countries you stayed for more than 6 months in the last 5 years. OTHER IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS: 1. Resume (Canadian Style) 2.
