"In 2014 Phillip Lehman and myself had been exploring caves in Madagascar for three weeks with little success. Three days before leaving I checked Malazamanga which was last on our list and emptied and exploration reel in small but going cave. The end of line was in a room right after a side mount restriction, it looked promising and we had hope the cave would still go. The next day, literally the day before we were scheduled to leave, we went back to Malazamanga and on the way there we were joking about one day finding a cave so big we would not even know what to do.
