Tesla Model 3 Performance 2024 Visual Review 4K + New QuickSilver Model 3! Here is a first look at the new Tesla Model 3 Performance code-named "Ludicrous". Tesla finally decided to distinguish the Performance version with a new blue badge on the back with some additional modifications like; the new front lip & side air intakes on the front bumper, a rear dynamic diffusor that is even different than the one on the standard Tesla Model 3 code name "Highland". New Performance also has a slightly redesigned rear carbon fiber spoiler that looks more aerodynamic with outside edges going flat and inside going up for better downforce. New 20" forged wheels look much better as they are more open exposing the Tesla red brake calipers. The new design includes plastic inserts for better aero dynamics allowing owners to decide if they want better looks or efficiency. The newly upgraded suspension is not just equipped with FSD (Frequency sound dampening) technology for softer ride comfort but is also adaptive to road surfaces. Tesla decided to go with Pirelli tires, which are a bit noisy on a test ride but have a good grip for track days. I noticed they have slightly better curb protection as the past generation had none! The new interior brings carbon fiber on the dash but the best part is the new sport seats that have knee support and tall bolsters, where you fit in tight, resulting in a more confident ride at higher speeds and in bends where you aren't "slipping" out of the seat. Sport seats are heated and ventilated. The new infotainment computer powered by AMD Ryzen is now equipped with V3 Track Mode. The power output on the Dula Motor setup is 461 kW or 627 HP. Launching 0-100 in 3,1 seconds and top speed electronically limited to 262 km/h. WLTP range is 528 km, but if you swap 20" wheels for 18" you get 629 km! The starting price in Croatia is 57.490 € at the moment of my test. Thats it! I feel like Tesla missed the opportunity to at least redesign the steering wheel but then their focus is minimalism and production efficiency. Sport "shift" pedals for regen and driving mode change would be a nice addition to the steering wheel. The Yoke turned out to be impractical for daily use and roundabouts so personally I am glad it is not present. And gosh no factory tint on rear windows like on Model Y!
