Welcome. Today we are back in Sweden were we join the crew of this mobile intensive care unit. We will follow this massive 18 tonnes ambulance as it navigates from one hospital to another. This mobile intensive care unit is used to transport patients in between hospitals whilst a team of medical personel can treat the patient during transport. This ambulance is equipped with a full size, state of the art intensive care unit as you would find in any major hospital. The region of Stockholm has two of these ambulances on stand by around the clock with a incredible 90 second repsons time. Todays emergency run is plagued by bad weather with rain and wet roads. Our driver needs to be extra carefull navigating the massive ambulance through traffic. Weather conditions can not only cause unpredictable vehicle behavior, but also other drivers to perform possible dangerous actions while approaching or passing them. Traffic density is medium as we approach a series of busy intersections. The sirens will come back on as we try and cross the first one as save as possible. If you’re fascinated by sirens, flashing lights, and the critical work of first responders, you’re in the right place. Our channel provides a unique perspective—literally—from the driver’s seat of police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks. We collect various videos from all over the world and add insightful context and commentary. Source: Resande MASK on YouTube Disclaimer This channel may use certain copyrighted materials.
