Noise Margin and Fan-out of Logic Gate Explained

In this video, different logic gate parameters like Noise Margin, Fan-In and Fan-out are explained in detail. The following topics are covered in the video: 0:00 Introduction 3:30 Voltage Parameters of Logic Gate 5:55 What is Noise Margin 8:39 Current Parameters of Logic Gate 12:20 Fan-out of Logic gate 15:22 Fan-In of Logic gate Check the following links for other useful videos related to Digital Electronics: 1) Digital Electronics (Playlist):    • Digital Electronics   2) What is Setup time and Hold Time?    • Setup Time and Hold Time of Flip Flop...   3) Sequential Circuits (Playlist):    • Sequential Circuits   Voltage Parameters of Logic Gate: There are 4 Voltage parameters defined for each logic gate. Voh - The minimum output voltage that will be considered as logic '1' Vol - The maximum output voltage that can be considered as logic '0' Vih - The minimum input voltage that can be considered as logic '1' Vil - The maximum input voltage that can be considered as logic '0' What is noise margin: The noise margin is the parameter which gives any idea about the noise immunity of the logic gate. It shows how much noise the logic gate can tolerate without affecting its normal operation. For the logic gates, two types of Noise Margin are defined: Noise Margin (High) = Voh - Vih Noise Margin (Low) = Vil - Vol What is Fan-In and Fan-out ? Fan-out : It is the maximum number of logic gates (load) that can be connected at the output of the logic gate. High State Fan-out = IOH (max) / IIH Low State Fan-out = IOL (max) / IIL Fan-In: The number of inputs that can be handled by the logic gate. In this video, all these different parameters of the logic gates are explained in detail. This video will be helpful to all the students of science and engineering in understanding the Noise Margin and Fan-out of Logic Gate. #allaboutelectronics #digitalelectronics #noisemargin #fanout #logicgate Support the channel through membership program:    / @allaboutelectronics   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow my second channel:    / @allaboutelectronics-quiz   Follow me on Facebook:   / allaboutelecronics   Follow me on Instagram:   / all_about.electronics   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music Credit: http://www.bensound.com
