Hunter hitboxes Identity V. Each and every hunter has a very unique style of attacking, and because of this they have very different hitboxes or ranges for their attacks. In this video I conducted some tests on each hunters' normal attack and charged attack to determine and compare them to each other. Creating a sort of tier list for their hitboxes, ranking them from D tier to S tier depending on how far their attack range was. You will see these tests in action with some Identity V gameplay so you can hopefully use this information to improve your overall Identity V game sense. This is something the Identity V community will find useful when picking a hunter to play or deciding when a survivor is in range of their attack. RULES OF THE TEST: As seen in the video, the survivor was placed between the second benches near the window in Red Church, the hunter would roughly start in between the first row of benches (the furthest benches from said window). The hunter would then step close to the survivor, attacking each time they made a step. Because it was so difficult to count the steps since sometimes hunters would have different stride lengths or I would accidentally half step, I measured the distance by using the tiles on the floor. There are three tiles that I used to measure. 1st Tile (where the hunter starts), if the hunter hit the target from here they received and S. 2nd Tile (divided into three different tiers), if the hunter hit the target from 1/3 of the second tile they would receive an A, if the hunter hit the target from 2/3 of the second tile they would receive a B, if the hunter hit the target from the edge of said tile they would receive a C. 3rd Tile, any hunter who only hit the survivor on the third tile automatically received a D.
