Somerset & Dorset Railway at Midsomer Norton "Wickham Weekender" 8th July 2023

This Gala featured the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust's Wickham Trolley "B40W" as well as a visiting Wickham trolley, running up and down a mile long line at Midsomer Norton South Station. On the formal Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway line between Radstock and Chilcompton. Giving Visitors the opportunity to ride on some unique rail vehicles that were use for maintenance! the visiting Wickham was No.4165 "156W" Wickham Trolley Type 8S. A unique two seat Wickham Trolley that have appeared at Steam Rallies. This was the first time in 52 Years that it was seen in operation! What a great place to give it a run to stretch its wheels! A big well done and thank you to the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust for putting on an amazing gala! Looking forward to any future events!
