Amazing! 4 1985 ATLAS Classe A Traction Elevators - Commercial Tower - GO, BR

A set of 4 ATLAS Classe A elevators from 1985, in a commercial tower. I've never seen this much elevators in a single building, and this was a nice discovery for me, considering that it's rare to see this in my state. Turns out, there are more original Classe As in the city (I've found 3 places with them in this boulevard), just that they aren't in my route when I come here. Probably one of the most high-end and desired commercial centers at the time, this one looks like something you would see in São Paulo, considering that there aren't much more buildings with this much elevators in the city. Security and management were friendly with my filming after I asked, very nice of them. About the elevators, they're full-fleged classic 1980s elevators - rough build, made to last, simple-looking design, analog indicators, bells, and epic motors. For Classe As, they are nearly identical to Westinghouse AEs from the US, even featuring their rude door closing - ATLAS controllers were also cursed by that. Some interesting things about these are the extremely rare custom made button with ENGEL's (building owner) logo and the also rare horizontal lanterns (Phase I Classe As generally have vertical ones). The Phase I SE-20 motors (ATLAS's traction machines used in the Classe A) are quite epic too, just not as loud here as others I have heard. One interesting thing though, is that the bells on these sound more like 80's Mitsubishi bells, not even near Westinghouse's "dinner bell". Performance-wise, they are just regular Classe As, meaning that they run just like any well-mantained 80s elevator. And of course, it wouldn't be Schindler maintenance without their stickers plastered all over. This was by far one of the hardest videos I've filmed - Take 1 was going perfect until I screwed it up by losing the car after trying to film a hall bell. Wait for these is quite long, traffic here is considerably high, and the short door open times and one call station per floor made it hard for me to film the bells and change cars - the video was going to be too long, and I didn't want to annoy the owner and tenants. Stay tuned until the very end for an EXCLUSIVE photo! FUN FACT: These are the highest Classe As I've ever seen in person! This also is the same building that has the only known ATLAS Modular escalators in the state, you can see them here:    • Unexpected! ATLAS Modular Escalators ...   Specifications: Brand: ATLAS Villares Mantainer: Schindler Model: Classe A (Phase I) Fixtures: Classe A (Commercial Regual Phase I) Type: Passenger commercial Doors: Center opening In Service: 1985 Configuration: Set of 4, 3 for passenger, 1 for service.
