Mayung village is located in Gelling circle of Upper Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is situated 10km away from sub-district headquarter Gelling (tehsildar office) and 210km away from district headquarter Yingkiong. As per 2009 stats, Bishing Mayung Bona Kopu is the gram panchayat of Mayung village. Mayung has a total population of 99 peoples, out of which male population is 49 while female population is 50. Literacy rate of mayum village is 55.56% out of which 67.35% males and 44.00% females are literate. There are 20 houses in Mayung village as of now.
