Anyhoo, I'm kinda working on channel status update rn - it's not mandatory to watch, but it does give some context going forward. Message to touhou fans: I wonder if that video makes some sort of sense - as I said in a video, Len'en's lore is enormous beast and unfortunately for those who want to ignore it, len'en fans would probably won't be that kind as lore is much more preferred over gameplay - heck in wiki, only one person voted for gameplay - shows how infuriating these games are in terms of gameplay. If you're a lore nerd - well, Len'en is a bit of a goldmine as it has ton of it and unlike Touhou's lore - isn't scattered around that much (you have interviews and now abandoned peing, games themselves and only one music CD) and it shows a gradual progression over the course of the games, be it world or character one. But sadly, JynX currently prioritizing BotC - which stunted the story flow HARD as it was meant for the newer audiences to enjoy - and the new info we got is quite scarce. While I don't have my hopes that up, at least pls jynx reveal more info on golden chapter or at least tell us the date of botc's full version - we all know how story driven gacha games are operated, please for fuck's sake reveal something for once it's been 6 years (techically 3-4, but it's still a lot). So yeah, if you want to join the fandom, prepare to suffer along us Message for Len'en fans: Sorry for low quality shitpost - I promise I'll get something more quality this time. As I said in my speedpaint video - Suwawako's video has clear signs of half-baked research (like he always does lol) and given his attitude towards dialogues, and Len'en itself being dialogue-heavy - I have a lot of skepticism regarding his further coverage. Len'en is lore-heavy game and even a small mistake (such as forgetting to mention Tsurubami, yet mentioning Suzumi saying that they debutted in EE, which is hella wrong) can make a bad impression not only for Touhou fans, but Len'en fans as well. While I saw a lot of correction in the comments, I'm still skeptical that he'll acknowledge them or would briefly talk about them in that awful cringe inducing tone that I don't like. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic, because let me be honest with you: I don't like Suwawako, mostly because he does bare-bones research, doesn't even try to care for the topics he's discus, sing and his jokes are just not funni (but the last point is my subjective opinion). Maybe he'll prove me wrong and will do a good job covering Evanescent Existence and other games, but idk - it's good to have a video coverage by Touhou fan, but it's not from the person I like that much (Megapig9001 would've done a better job honestly, especially with him being a lore nerd) Sorry for being mean to a minor aaaa (even though we're only one year apart), maybe I'm taking things too seriously because Len'en legit saved my life, on multiple occasions even --- Now that I got the hang on how to make slaner/lore type of videos... hmm... #lore #memes #meme #touhou #lorememe
