Living in a world where traditions are disappearing and knowledge is lost, a group of Li people, the ethnic minority group that mostly lives on Hainan Island, have never changed the lifeline of their culture and ancestors. Fifty-year-old Fu Baiyin spends most of her leisure time creating a unique traditional handicraft - Li Brocade - along with the other Li women and girls, to keep the tradition alive. Their lives are actually like a Li Brocade. The clothes they make mirror their lifestyles, morals and customs, beliefs and taboos. This is the charm of the Li Brocade.
