In this video I locate the source of a drivetrain vibration at highway speeds. My Chevy Silverado makes a loud squeaking noise at low speeds, and has a tight vibration in the drive line from 55 mph up to 75 mph. It turns out I have a worn out universal joint on my truck's driveshaft. There weren't any needle bearings in the cap at all! Join me as I take you through the process of replacing the U-joints in my 1999 Chevy Silverado Z71. I purchased two new Moog Universal Joints and was able to get the job completed with the help of a universal joint press tool. The repair was easier than I expected.
