My First International Theme Park! | Thorpe Park Vlog 6.17.23

While studying abroad in the UK this summer, I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at Thorpe Park, my first international theme park! Located on an island about and hour and a half from London via public transit, this park packs a decent number of rides and coasters into a tiny land area. Come along to see my experience! I was most surprised by the incredibly detailed (by comparison to US parks) theming and presentation of each individual ride, but the coaster collection itself was also very solid for such a small park! From the punchy Intamin accelerator Stealth, to the world's first 10-inversion coaster Colossus, to the surprisingly solid B&M wing coaster Swarm, I thought Thorpe had a lot of coaster fun to offer, even though none of the rides are likely to blow away any seasoned enthusiasts.
