Walther has had the P-22 handgun in their catalog for quite some time now and it has proven to be a very successful and popular design. The light weight, easy handling characteristics, and familiar profile lend it as a firearm that a wide variety of people can gravitate to and enjoy. The Ruger SR-22 is a new gun from an established company that has been known for making quality firearms for decades. It is, for all purposes, a copy of the Walther P22. The profile and design features are nearly identical. A few things have been changed like the location of the magazine release, the safety design, etc. Both guns have their merits and minor drawbacks, but hopefully this video will leave you a little more informed about the similarities and differences that each gun offers. Personally, I prefer the Walther P-22, although the feel and profile of the SR-22 is hard to mistaken. Mainly, it's because of the obvious design aspects "borrowed" from the Walther.
