Say whatever you want about Renault, but the French company is on a wave. It has renewed and expanded its vehicle lineup and is now on the verge of bringing out several fresh models, including the 2025 Austral. The compact crossover came out in 2022, so a mid-cycle refresh shouldn't have been on the cards until next year or 2026. However, the diamond brand has already applied its new corporate look to the Rafale, Captur, and Clio. Thus, it's time for the Renault Austral to follow in their footsteps by featuring a new face and several other updates, including some in the powertrain department. Our spy photographers nabbed a prototype as it was undergoing testing in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain. The tester was fully camouflaged and wasn't willing to reveal its visual secrets just yet. However, we already know what to expect from the facelifted crossover, and that's a new front fascia and a few revisions at the back, perhaps sprinkled with new wheels and colors.
