Budget dropper post and handlebar for my Nishiki Colorado Comp

I bought this 2019 Nishiki Colorado Comp 27.5+ hardtail a few weeks ago, and I have been having lots of fun riding it on my local trails. I paid $370 for it, and as of this writing it is listed on the Dick's Sporting Goods website for $649, down from $749. But, it is presently out of stock, as is true of so many bikes these days. Still, I was surprised to see it listed. My first impression was that this is a really fast bike! This is a little bit of a surprise since there is nothing on paper to suggest it would be. It has the stock 1x10 Sram NX drivetrain, which works very nicely. It also brakes really well, especially for a mechanical disc brake setup. The Tektro Aries feel almost as responsive as hydraulic brakes! The short wheelbase makes it very nimble, and it took me a few descending turns to figure out that my position on this Nishiki is not the same as that on my longer wheelbase Specialized Rockhopper 29er. To date, I have installed a TranzX 110mm dropper post, a 45mm Wake stem, a 780mm JG Bikes alloy handlebar, and a pair of Oury lock on grips from my local bike shop. These modifications have made this bike a real pleasure to ride. Costs Initial Purchase: $370.00 Oury lock on grips, $29.97, local bike shop Wake 45mm alloy stem, $9.97, Amazon.com JG Bikes 780mm, 300mm rise handlebar, $19.99, Amazon.com TransX Kitsuma 110mm external dropper post, $139.91, E-bay.com Total cost: $569.84 Specifications (Stock) Frame Size 20" (large) Wheel Size 27.5+ Frame Heat treated/butted 6061 aluminum and Mountain geometry with asymmetrical chain stays Fork SR Suntour XCM with lockout Rear Shock N/A Headset N/A Cranks 30T Chainring with forged alloy 175mm crank arms Bottom Bracket Sealed cartridge with oversized bearings Rear Derailleur SRAM NX 1X11 Cog Set SRAM NX PG 1130 11-42 (11,13,15,17,19,22,25,28,32,36,42) Shifter SRAM NX 1X11 Trigger Shifter Chain KMC Hub F Aluminum with through axle Hub R Aluminum with QR Spokes 14g Rims Double wall alloy, 27.5+ X 30mm , plus-sized rim Tires Kenda Havok 27.5x2.8/2.35 Brakes Textro Aries Mechanical Brake Levers Tektro Alloy Levers Brake Rotors Tektro 1600mm front and rear Pedals Steel Handlebar Alloy 720mm Bar center:31.8 MM Rise:12MM. 6 degree backsweep Grips Nishiki MTB Stem 90mm alloy Seat Nishiki mountain saddle Seat Post 27.2X 350 alloy with sanded finish Average Bike Weight 35 lbs.
