Today's Mordhau gameplay video features a brand new build for the Rapier. I took my old Blackbeard Build and spruced it up with a dagger and some new armor. This is a much more serious attempt at using the rapier. My video from earlier this year was more of a meme build than anything. I think the results speak for themselves. I really couldn't believe how well I was doing with the weapon. The enemy team didn't seem to be full of new players, but maybe I'm having a selective memory. What I really think is happening here is that the Rapier is one of the easier weapons to use in Mordhau. The stab deals more damage than swinging does, so you'll always want to be scrolling up, if you're using the default keybinds in the game. The Rapier's stab speed is swift. The Rapier's stab speed is only beaten by the Dagger and the Axe. So, considering that the weapon does more damage with stabs than swings, and it has about the fastest stab in the game...you should be stabbing with it for the majority of your attacks. #Mordhau #Medieval #Rapier
