At Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports, it’s not just about the games—it’s about the lifelong relationships that are built on and off the field. In this video, we celebrate the powerful connections formed among our athletes. Meet Stella, Cady, and Mason: three friends who met as young participants in adaptive sports. Over the last six years, they’ve grown into best friends and fierce advocates for each other, proving that teamwork goes far beyond the sport. Then, there’s Ben and Lincoln. Despite their 13-year age difference, they share a deep love for hockey. Lincoln now plays sled hockey, with Ben often by his side as his pusher on the ice. Their bond has grown so strong that they’re more like brothers than teammates. Finally, we highlight actual brothers, Oliver and Palmer. Thanks to adaptive sports, Palmer now gets to join his older brother Oliver on the ice or court. Their shared love of hockey helps them connect in ways that were once out of reach.
