"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" is a poem written in 1922 and published in 1923 by American Poet Robert Frost (1874-1963) One of Frost's best-known poems, the poet himself calls it his "best bid for remembrance." As the poem suggests, the persona stops by a lovely forest on one snowy evening. Standing between the woods and a frozen lake, he watches the snow falling on the beautiful trees as night approaches. Although he is tempted to stay there, he decides to move on as he realizes the task and obligations he is yet to fulfill. Disclaimer: This is a remastered recording of Frost himself.
