What is Quick Sync? What is NVENC? Well today we compare the Intel Quick Sync UHD 770 vs NVENC. Though when you buy an Intel CPU (besides the F variant) and or a GPU, you most the time get an onboard encoder/decoder that is a powerful tool that can help boost your productivity. However in order to save a a quick buck, a lot of people opt for the F variant CPU or CPU without an iGPU, (i.e. i7-12700KF instead of i7-12700K), and for purely gaming, that is always a smart choice, only buy what you need. Though if you are a creator then I think that is a big mistake, and even if you have a dedicated GPU, like an RTX 3080, then it's still extremely beneficial to get an iGPU like the UHD 770 or UHD 730 (found in the i5-12400).
