Join me on this journey! ********************************** I crossed the Indian Ocean on #sailboat Karaka (http://karaka.org) from Indonesia to Mauritius, heading towards Africa. Karaka is a shared cost boat, which was already sailing around the world 1 time under the french captain Tom. In 2012 i have been on the little yacht Karaka :-), now it was time to join sailor Tom on his sailboat again. In total we have been 6 + 1 souls during the big Indian #OceanCrossing, it took us more than 3 weeks. In total it was more than 5.200 kilometers cruising which is almost 3000NM. In the middle of everything our autopilot (windvane) breaks and we had to do hand steering. This is our story about sailing, travel and adventure.
