Oliver's Mount Gold Cup 2024 David Jackson Classic Superbikes Suzuki 750 SRAD in the paddock

Another Weekend racing at Olivers Mount with the Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD in the Classic Superbikes Gold Cup 2024. David Jackson Qualified 2nd on the grid and finished 5th in the race on the Saturday. However David went out on wet tyres and due to a hold up because of a side car collision in the race before, the track had almost dried out! Everyone else went out on Intermediates, which we did not have a set, or cut slicks. David did well to lead the race for 2 laps until at that point the tyres where almost melting. David couldn't do anymore on the GSXR in that race and we are happy to take that result considering the circumstances. Unfortunately are Suzuki didn't see a race on the Sunday due to the racing been cancel because of the thick fog. Moving forwards, next year we look to get a third set of wheels for Oliver's and hopefully we can get some sponsors to help our journey to Ireland. Its been a sad end to the season due to the loss of an amazing rider and person overall who did so much for racing. David Suddes sadly passed after a tragic accident doing what he loved doing the most, racing motorcycles. He will be missed by so many people including myself and the team. We had a fantastic Friday night with David in the paddock, the best laugh I have had in a long time. I have included some photos at the end of the video for everyone.
