Sintron GBS-8200 CGA/EGA/YUV to VGA Video Converter (Adapter) for Arcade Games - LCD TV Monitor

In this video I demonstrate the Simtron GBS-8200 CGA/EGA/YUV to VGA converter. This handy little adapter converts the video output signal in an arcade game so that it can be displayed on a computer monitor or flat screen TV using the 15-pin SVGA connector. I install this unit in a Cruis'n USA arcade game, in which I have installed an Insignia 29" LCD TV. While I typically don't recommend installing an LCD screen in a classic arcade game, it's not a bad alternative for more modern, higher resolution games like this one. Install took about 30 minutes and setup took about another 30 minutes. Once I learned how the settings worked, I was able to get a great picture with no ghosting and no motion blur. This device is very affordable and is a great converter if you want to upgrade your medium resolution game's monitor to a more modern LCD screen.
