Woodturning - This Wood Was Eaten By Grubs!

I was looking for a log in my store for another project (that will be coming out early next week) when I came across this piece of oak that had been infested with Round headed borer beetle larvae. I thought the holes they had made would make an interesting pattern for a vase. The piece has been sanded to 7000 grit and finished off with Sanding sealer and wood wax. Let me know what you think!
