In this video, I address what those modalities are and suggest some major "pillars of fitness." I think that everyone should be strong, mobile, mentally agile, and aerobically fit. Further, each of these pillars of fitness can be broken down. We should seek to develop max strength as well as explosive strength. Aerobic endurance AND anaerobic endurance.
