Driving in Tibet China on Stunning Highway thru Tibetan villages, mountains and valleys

4K Scenic Drive on China National Highway G558 in Nagqu and Chamdo, from Biru County of Nagqu to Banbar County Of Chamdo, through Stunning Tibetan mountains with countryside views. China National Highway 558 is a road connecting Biru County, Nagqu City and Banbar County, Qamdo City. The total journey is not long, but the scenery is stunning. The section from Biru to Banbar via Baiga Township is Highway G558. The mountains are high, the slopes are steep, and the turns are sharp. These two sections of the road are typical "mountains and ridges roads". The continuous crossing of the mountains is either uphill or downhill, with many U-turns, but fortunately the road is wide enough. Some sections of the road are unpaved for dozens of kilometers. In icy and snowy conditions, paved roads are more difficult to drive on. For this reason, many high-altitude mountain passes in Tibetan areas are not paved with asphalt roads. The most difficult part is the canyon section from Nimu to Bianba. The road passes through the valleys, with many sharp turns and fallen rocks everywhere. Drivers must pay attention to controlling the speed, sometimes driving fast and sometimes slowing down. At the same time, they must keep their eyes open while driving, fearing that rocks will fall. While driving in Tibet, the most frightening thing is not the continuous climbing of mountains or the 180-degree sharp turns, but the narrow roads, difficult passing vehicles, landslides and falling rocks. Because some sections of Highway G558 are built in valleys, rockfalls and mudslides often occur. In terms of highway maintenance in China, the Tibet Highway Bureau is the first and deservedly so.
