EMSL offers users world-class expertise, scientific leadership, and cutting-edge resources in studying soil ecology habitats. During this EMSL LEARN webinar: • Arunima Bhattacharjee demonstrated mineral microfluidics, a novel capability that allows investigation of inorganic nutrient cycling in soil through multimodal on-chip imaging. Arunima also discussed the soil EcoFABs, fabricated ecosystems capabilities for microbiome science, and how users can collaborate with EMSL to access these habitats. • Jayde Aufrecht introduced the RhizoChip, a new EMSL capability that allows users to image plant-microbe dynamics and map the rhizosphere’s molecular environment. In addition, Jayde shared how to bio-print microbes for high-throughput phenotyping of spatially organized microbial communities.
