Sister Bazaar is being known for Nurse(Sister/Nurse of British Military Hospital) who use to live this place during British rule over Mussoorie. Prakash store in Sister's Bazaar—where it is the star from amongst the handful of stores—was initially popularised by its mention in Ruskin Bond's books (the writer is a mussoorie, but remains one of the hill station's must-visits for its delicious stock of cheese, jams, peanut butter and candy even today. * Chaar Dukaan Chaar-Dukaan, literally four shops (since British Raj era) which stands next to the St. Pauls’ Church is the proverbial village square of this little hamlet. Chaar-Dukan is a really laidback joint where the culinary delights like hot and tempting parathas, bun omelets, pizzas, pastas, noodles, pancakes, different kinds of juices, aromatic tea and coffee, are enjoyed under the lazy lukewarm sun and the naughty crispy breeze.
