Ibanez M8M NAILS the Meshuggah Tone!

There I was sitting perfectly happy with my Ibanez M80M Meshuggah import model guitar a few weeks ago, when I spotted on Reverb one of the only listings I've ever seen for one of these M8M Meshuggah custom shop models... Long story short, I snapped it up and it has rapidly taken the lead as my go to 8 string. So much so that my M80M went up on reverb and sold a few days ago. Pairing this M8M with the Fortin Nameless Plugin and some aggressive right hand picking just gives up that Violent Sleep Of Reason Album tone like nothing else, the 30" scale paired with the Lundgren M8 pickup is a combo like no other and is just THE Meshuggah tone. For a test I decided to see how close I could get to the tone for the breakdown section of Our Rage Won't Die and I think it's pretty close.
