40ft Shipping Containers for Mining Applications

Tomra approached us to build them a control and operations monitoring centre for a mining operation in New Caledonia, comprising cable and switch-room plus office space and storage. Designed from two 40 foot containers and a single 20ft our solution, they were designed and built in-house to Tomra's exacting specifications. The two 40 foot containers were mounted one on top of the other with the bottom one used as storage and cable routing while the top one containing all the monitoring and operation systems plus it connects directly to an elevated gantry allowing quick access for staff and technicians to operate and maintain equipment. A separate office and combined storage was designed from a 20 foot container. With inclusions like insulation, air-conditioning, power and lighting plus much much more allows staff to work efficiently and comfortably. Delivered to their testing facility by our drivers.
