I bought a MN99S because I wanted to convert it into brushless. My aim was to make it both fast and able to crawl. I rebuilt it so the frame and body sits 15 millimeter lower and the motor/gearbox sits 25 mm higher in the frame. The result is lower center of gravity and still about 10 mm more groundclearence than original. Steering servo is mounted on the front axle to eliminate bump steer. 2 speed WPL gearbox and a 4500 kv Racerstar brushless motor produce power that works well both at low and high speed. Wider wheels and modified shocks damped with thick diff oil make the car quite stable. I am positively surprised by the outcome!
