A discussion on the politics of power and ‘handing it down’ to the youth. Why is this topic important today? Because more than ever before, we need a fundamental change in the way the world is both organised and governed (globally, not just in South Africa). And for true transformation to happen, we cannot keep aspiring to inherit existing systems and governments as we see them today, we need something completely new. Liz Letsoalo is the Entrepreneur who is transforming beauty through a beauty ecosystem startup called The Beauty Hutt. It runs through 2 brands: Masodi Organics (Natural Beauty Products) and Rave Beauty (A Mobile Beauty Service). She considers herself primarily a Politician, and then an Entrepreneur and Innovator because everything she does is driven by the need for justice and a fair life for all. She has experience in strategy and operations through 3 multinational companies she has served, and is on a journey to public leadership.
