Heard This In My Favorite Movie...

When I was a kid, I had the good fortune of watching The Blues Brothers movie. I loved all the great music throughout the film but especially John Lee Hooker's performance of Boom Boom was mind blowing. When his voice came in with that "How, how, how, how, how!", I was absolutely floored. I had never heard anything like that before. The very next chance I had, I took off to our local library and borrowed every album of his that I could find there. I ended up listening to so many different blues artists because of that trip. A lot of my love of blues music is a direct result of that movie scene. Anyway, in case you're wondering why I recorded this little clip, I was inspired to do so because of Laurie's Mishmosh.
