STEP 1: First, close iTunes on your Computer/ Mac, if it is already open. STEP 2: Now hold SHIFT key on Windows Computer or OPTION key on Mac, and launch iTunes. STEP 3: Select CREATE LIBRARY. Now under MUSIC folder, name your new library and SAVE. [Similarly, create multiple iTunes Libraries for multiple iPhone users] STEP 4: Now, iTunes should launch with new iTunes Library. Select EDIT and PREFERENCES. Now select ADVANCED and make sure “Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library” checkbox is unticked. And hit OK. STEP 5: Now, you can connect your new iPhone to iTunes and sync or backup with this new iTunes Library, without worrying about mixing the data with old iTunes Library or iPhone. STEP 6: If you want to sync OR backup a second iPhone on iTunes, you need first to close iTunes. Then hold SHIFT key on Windows Computer or OPTION key on Mac, and launch iTunes again. This time select CHOOSE LIBRARY in pop-up menu. STEP 7: Now, under MUSIC folder, select the desired iTunes Library folder, open it and select iTunes Library dot ITL file. And hit OPEN. STEP 8: Now, iTunes has launched with old iTunes library. Make sure “Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library” checkbox is unticked here also. And now connect your second iPhone and sync with this old iTunes Library. That’s all!
