This problem was recently highlighted by residents of Zira Area of Punjab. Earlier, people of Punjab have continuously raised the issue of Budha Darya, A river, which is completely polluted by industries of Ludhiana. Recently, Government was going to establish Textile Park on the Bank of River Satluj. Three forests were also very near to the site. People strongly opposed and stopped the government to do do.
