Paddy varieties comparison | PK 1121 Kainaat Basmati | Kisan Basmati 1509 | Abid Ali Agrarian In this video, I will share the variety of characters differences between PK 1121 (Kainaat basmati) and Kisan Basmati 1509. PK 1121 is a long duration variety whereas Kissan basmati is a short duration variety. PK 1121 is a high yielding variety as compared to Kisan Basmati 1509. PK 1121 seed is sown 15 days before Kisan Basmati. PK 1121 is harvested 7 to 10 days after harvesting of Kisan Basmati 1509. PK 1121 takes 140 to 145 days in the field whereas Kisan Basmati 1509 takes 120 days in the field including Nursery days. PK 1121 has high tillering capacity as compared to Kisan Basmati 1509. PK 1121 takes 80 to 85 days to reach at booting stage whereas Kisan Basmati 1509 takes 55 to 60 days.
