Over the Waves (fiddle lesson)

Over the Waves (Sobre las Olas) is a waltz written by the Mexican composer Juventino Rosas in 1888. It is often used as a Texas-style contest tune. In this fiddle lesson I give three versions of the tune. The first is simple; the second has ornaments, and third, based on the playing of Johnny Gimble, has some complex double stops.
