Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Summer Festival 2009, July 25 In this video, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche explains that Dorje Shugden is an enlightened Deity who is the manifestation of the Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa. He explains that in the 17th century, after the great Lama Ngatrul Dragpa died, he appeared as Dorje Shugden. The holy beings that were Ngatrul Dragpa's former incarnations are the same as Je Tsongkhapa's, which is why Dorje Shugden and Je Tsongkhapa are the same mental continuum but different aspects. Je Tsongkhapa himself appeared as Dorje Shugden to protect his doctrine of the Ganden Oral Lineage from degenerating. If we rely upon Dorje Shugden with faith, he will guide us to the correct path, pacify our obstacles, and we will receive his powerful blessings, through which our wisdom, compassion, and spiritual power will increase. Through this, we can easily make progress on the quick path to enlightenment shown to us by Je Tsongkhapa, and attain the supreme happiness of enlightenment quickly in this life. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Follow the New Kadampa Tradition Facebook: / kadampa Instagram: / newkadampat. .
