Remember, this isn’t a competition. This is just one person’s choice based on one video/performance. It’s really just to appreciate moments in the dance that some members did extra well It isn’t really even an analysis but I will say what I noticed to justify. I was really really impressed by this performance. Any overtly mean comments I see directed at anyone will be deleted. But, if you’re curious this is approx how long I ended up looking at each member. If you count moves, please remember that it’s also not super telling of ability since not every move is the same difficulty/length etc. Chaeryeong = 58s Ryujin = 41s Yeji = 31s Yuna = 27s Lia = 10s This is what I observed about each member in this video. Again, overall they all did extremely well. Any criticisms are very minor in the scheme of things imo. Chaeryeong Basically perfect the whole way through lol. Some of her travelling could be smoother and sometimes she moves her head a bit too much (usually it's good but sometimes she goes too far lol) but that’s it and it’s nitpicking. As many have noticed, her hips truly do not lie this era. The fluidity in her hips is spectacular. She is truly so aware of her whole body. Ryujin Her controlled manner of dancing and great musicality really shone in this dance. This may be my fave dance for Ryujin (besides the beginning of Wannabe ofc). I noticed her chest movements to be especially impressive. She does have a few timing mistakes and could be a little more “relaxed” in some of her moves Yeji To me, Yeji really sells the swagger of this dance very well. I don’t know if it’s just because of her top but I noticed a lot of really great shoulder moves. She is also very aware of her head angle and expression. I’m surprised she didn’t get more focus time. She was consistently very good throughout my video doesn’t do her justice lol. I’d suggest following her if you’re learning the chorus tbh. Yuna If you’ve seen my other videos you know I adore how Yuna dances. She has such defined chest movements and a brilliant energy for ITZY’s choreo. When she’s center stage, she gives it her ALL. Usually she’s doing something different than the rest though so it isn’t quite fair to compare. It could just be her jacket but some of her arm movements are a bit stiff or awkward. She misses a few details but, at the same time, she’s adding to her moves very well with something as simple as a hip pop or head tilt. Lia I was very impressed by Lia in this video. Even though she wasn’t often the best, she was quite good throughout and actually made less timing mistakes than some other members. Her head movements were great and, as always, she’s quite graceful. I think her only noticeable issue is that she makes some awkward angles with her shoulders during fast moments which make her look hunched. Her travels could also be cleaner. Her hips are hit or miss, sometimes she’s moving or popping them out the best and sometimes she’s forgetting.
