Are you a woman who loves nature and exploring the world but holds back because of fear? I get it. I’m by no means an expert on safety, travel, or outdoor adventures—just a woman on her own journey to feel empowered and safe while adventuring solo. In this video, I’m sharing personal stories about what it’s like to step out alone, especially when society sometimes makes it feel like we, as women, shouldn’t. I want to share my heart on this topic and encourage you that you can get out there, explore new places, and take on solo adventures—even if it feels a little scary. In this honest, heart-to-heart chat, I’ll talk about the realities of solo adventures and how to trust your intuition. There’s no formula, just real talk about GROWING YOUR CONFIDENCE one step at a time, learning to listen to that inner voice and BUILD TRUST WITH YOURSELF, and understanding that it’s okay to change your mind if something doesn’t feel right. Solo experiences can be an incredible way to grow in faith, build confidence, and experience the richness of life God has given all of us! I’m so excited to chat with you :) This ended up being a WAY longer video than I planned, so if you made it all the way through, comment GET OUT THERE! Thank you so much for sticking with me. Also, a quick but important note: I was born and raised in California, in the United States, and that has inherently shaped my experiences. It’s important to remember that there are places where being a woman means having a LOT less freedom and safety than I’ve experienced. I feel so privileged to do any of this, let alone do it alone. I just think it’s important to remind myself and others to celebrate the opportunities we do have and not forget that not everyone has the same options. The article I mention in the video: “Why female solo travel is less than dangerous and more than self-discovery” by Jasmine Irving, HuffPost UK. Available at: https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/jasm...
