Welcome back to the South Downs in East Sussex for this 5 mile circular walk and hill top wild camp on Firle Beacon! I was joined by two great camping buddies that I haven't seen for ages, Hambo and Mark (1st Class Adventures). I kept my kit relatively light but comfy, taking my Rab Ridge Raider hooped bivvy and a nice comfy fold up chair! I show you the kit I am taking for this trip and some modifications and additions to my collection but most importantly of all, you get to see it in action! We witnessed a fantastic sunset and an even better sunrise, two things the South Downs is renowned for. We followed this up with a cracking walk the next morning to blow away the cobwebs.
