Fascia release is not a well know practice, but one your body will thank you for. Fascia is a fibrous connective tissue that is supposed to move with the body supporting joints, muscles, tendons, bones and movement. When the fascia tissues are healthy, they are hydrated and slide freely. With injury and/or age fascia tissues can get bound up and entangled, dehydrated and "sticky". Self-massage and yoga poses will help release the entangled fascia promoting blood flow, hydration, fascia mobility and movement without pain. Learn, explore and live healthy.
