The Wyze Doorbell is a video doorbell that allows you to view the live and recorded footage from the doorbell on your phone. The doorbell works on the same app as other Wyze smart home devices and is available for both android and iOS. The doorbell connects via wifi through your wifi network for connectivity so you can view the livestream and recorded video. The Wyze doorbell does require a hardwired power source that has an output between 16-24 Volts. Most working existing doorbell power supplies will have enough power to support the Wyze doorbell. It should be noted that the Wyze Doorbell comes with a plug in chime that connects via wifi and can be placed anywhere in your home. However the Wyze doorbell does disable your existing hardwired doorbell chime during installation so only the plug in Wyze chime will work.
