Hybrid Desktop PC Server Build | Noise Reduction with Noctua NA-FC1

This is a follow-up video from my 3 part series on the hybrid desktop pc / server build. In those videos, I built a desktop pc and server in a Phanteks Evolv X case, and there were some unique challenges to manage the chassis fans / airflow with 2 independent computers sharing the same case. Using the Phanteks built-in fan hub, the fans would spin at maximum RPM when the PWM signal from the desktop PC disappeared. This did allow the server to stay cool while the desktop was suspended or shut down, but it generated an additional 5 dBA. I had mentioned that this could be remedied by using a Noctua fan controller. In this video, I'm going to unbox that Noctua NA-FC1 fan controller and show how I can use it to control the fan noise when the desktop pc is suspended while the server is running.
