Hurricane Milton Evacuation & Aftermath // Tiny House Life

We had to evacuate the tiny house as hurricane Milton started coming our way! We had many more trees down with Milton than we did with Irma a few years ago. Four trees in a row fell, which made us think a tornado may have come through. One tree landed on our garden. The water was unprecedented! We lost our Prius, mower, and several tools we had stored underneath the barn. We sadly lost all of our turkeys except for one and we lost three chickens. Our main chicken flock and our cow Amber survived thankfully. Our tiny house did not have any damage, praise the lord! Although we did have to stay with family for a few weeks while we waited for the water to recede enough for us to return home. Overall we are very blessed and thankful to be safe from the storm! Sending prayers and love to all those who felt its impacts throughout Florida and beyond.
