[OMSI] This is what a Voith DIWA.3 gearbox should be: Idling speed control of Voith DIWA.3

ProdBus here is testing the idling speed control featured in newer Voith gearboxes, namely DIWA8xx.3, .3E and .5. Right now it's on bug fixation because during testing the engine was in uncontrolled revving to maximum for several times which is seen in the last few seconds of this movie clip. If anyone is interested (either in using this testing script or in participating in bug fixation), feel free to contact me. Pay attention to the slight revving when switching to neutral, and the slight slow-down when engaging back to non-neutral. Development milestones: Version 1.00: Engine idling speed control turned on, scripts following the very original one. Bugs identified: (A) Every time when the engine was started, it revs to maximum for a while without stepping on the gas pedal. (B) The problem got worse after running for some distances, then the engine got stuck at maximum revving without slowing down. Problem B cannot be solved even by switching off the engine and turning it on again, nor closing and then re-launching OMSI, nor removing and re-adding the bus. v.1.01: Idling speed control was limited to 300-1000rpm, problem (A) is solved, while problem (B) was still active, though the distance covered before getting stuck at maximum revving was significantly greater, and the problem was solved by removing and re-adding the bus. One more related problem was identified (C): Worsening of revving problem after rapid alternating kicking down and stopping. v.1.02 (featured in this video): Idling speed control was further limited to 300-850rpm. Problems B & C are still active, though with improvements in terms of distance covered and the no. of times of alternating kicking down and stopping. (6/4/2012 added) Final bugs identified in v.1.02: The engine speed control is inappropriately activated when the retarder is on, which causes the bus to accelerate but not decelerate. When brakes are applied further to stop the bus, the bus revs to maximum without slowing down. Also, when the engine is incompletely shut down, it also revs to maximum without slowing down. Now the problems are fixed, and the final product is shown in later videos. The bus here is a 1983 MAN SD200, retrofitted with a 240ps version of D2566MUH engine and a Voith DIWA851.3 gearbox, plus a smaller final drive ratio.
