I've compiled and edited a bunch of beautiful vintage pages from dictionaries, catalogue seeds, music sheets and beautiful botanical compositions into a paperback book (A5 size) so you can have a base for your art journal creations without the need to destroy a real vintage book. It can be used as an art journal itself, but you can explore many more options. Feel free to cut the pages for other crafty projects, collages, cards and to use these pieces on other art journals. Tear them off, cut out the words you want or cut the images. Since it is not a real vintage book you don't need to fear that something old and unique is being destroyed. It just got printed! It's a book meant to be used, and since you may fall in love with some compositions, I've made sure that every double spread appears twice in the book: in the middle of the book, the book starts again so you have a second chance to rescue some of the pages or to try a different artistic approach for that composition. In this video I also show you how I use the book for the first time with a very simple colouring technique using infusions and Satin Glaze by PaperArtsy followed by a final ageing layer of Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
