Welcome back to another day in the potato fields! It’s Day 14 of harvest, and we’re kicking things off by heading down to the potato cellar to see where we’re at and what’s in store for today. With acres still to dig and plenty of potatoes to move, it’s a big day ahead. Once we’ve got a plan, it’s time to get to the field and start beating the vines, prepping the crop for another full day of harvesting. After hours in the field, working hard to get through as much as possible, we head back to the cellar for the end-of-day update. That’s when we realize it’s been a record-breaking day for us—135 acres harvested and a massive 216 loads of potatoes hauled in! It’s one for the books and a huge milestone for this year’s harvest.
